Yes, Strong College Students is an essential service. We provide trucking, delivery, and logistics to support the supply chains of our customers including both residential moving and commercial moving. We’re following the CDC guidelines and best practices for safety, sanitation, and cleanliness.

We work with each of our customers to find a solution that meets their needs and requirements including additional steps in our enhanced service levels.

Our offices are independently operated and as things are changing daily it is best to call your desired location to confirm the availability of their moving calendar.

How is Strong College Students Moving working to STOP the spread of COVID-19?

We follow the local guidelines and best practices in each region as well as th CDC guidelines to increase our safety measures and limit the spread of the virus. Here are a few examples of the steps we recommend our offices to take.

  • We complete temperature checks prior to crew departures each day
  • We inquire about their health and the health of whom they live with
  • We implement quarantines of staff members when required
  • Our teams are masked on the jobsite when interacting with the customer or in a proximity less then the recommended distance
  • We have added new sanitation stations in our warehouses and offices
  • We limit the number of staff who can interact in our warehouses and offices

WHAT IS CLOSE PROXIMITY OR EXPOSURE?

For COVID-19, a close contact is anyone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes. An infected person can spread COVID-19 starting 48 hours (or 2 days) before the person had any symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION

Not everyone needs to be tested for COVID-19.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and want to get tested, call your healthcare provider first. Most people will have mild illness and can recover at home without medical care and may not need to be tested.

CDC has guidance for who should be tested, but decisions about testing are made by state and local health departments and healthcare providers.

You can also visit your state or local health department’s website to look for the latest local information on testing.

COVID-19 & SURFACES

There is still a lot that is unknown about COVID-19 and how it spreads. Coronaviruses are thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Although the virus can survive for a short period on some surfaces, it is unlikely to be spread from domestic or international mail, products or packaging. However, it may be possible that people can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.
